We
are the smallest of the Welsh Centres but will offer you a big-hearted
welcome.
The Centre was formed in 1976 when 25 members of the South Wales Centre
elected to form their own Centre. 1n 2002 we celebrated our 1000th Rally.
The old county of South Glamorgan has since disappeared to become
the Counties of Cardiff and the Vale of South Glamorgan. The multi -
cultural capital of Wales falls within our area, as do the towns of
Cowbridge, Barry and the seaside resort of Barry Island.
Between March and December the Centre organises a wide variety of rallies,
both inside and outside our boundaries. There is a weekend rally most
weekends, with Bank Holiday and holiday rallies providing that longer
break.
They say that good things come in smaller packages,
in the case of the South Glamorgan Centre they are probably right.
