What's Involved?

Volunteering can be a very rewarding experience as it provides you with an opportunity to see how a Caravan Club site is run.

As a volunteer you could help with various projects to assist the wardens in the upkeep of the site, from painting fences, clearing undergrowth; meeting members both new and established to helping in the office.

Generally, we try to offer a site within a 50 mile radius of your home town. The site may, of course, be within a few miles and in easy reach of your home and you may not need to take your caravan.

Staying on site - for those who wish to take their caravan to the site, a free pitch may be offered if the work necessitates staying overnight. During particularly busy times, this may not be in a convenient position on the site.

21 nights  - there is a maximum stay of 21 consecutive nights, as for all members.

Travel Expenses – as you will be travelling to your allocated site, you will incur travel expenses. Mileage will be reimbursed to you together with other possible expenses such as toll bridges/roads.

Keeping in contact with Head Office – if you decide to extend your knowledge of how individual sites are run, and wish to try a variety of sites, please, in the first instance, contact Head Office, Volunteers, and we will endeavour to find a suitable site that requires volunteers.
